Multi-standard

Transporting goods using different consecutive means of transport during the same transport. This includes combinations between inland navigation and road transport, or between train and road transport.

Multi-standard is also often used as indication on a Bill of Lading when, in addition to transport by sea, it partly concerns onshore transport.

In addition to port of loading/unloading, the Bill of Lading also states the place of loading/unloading. For multi-standard options, please contact your Embassy Freight contact person.
